Studios are great if you want to paint still life (everyone needs a bowl of fruit painting). But the world is full of energy; full of life that you can't capture when you're looking at the walls of your studio. Go outside in your backyard and paint the clouds or paint the kids as they play on the swings. Or be really adventurous and go up to the mountains to paint the trees or down to the beach to paint the sunset. All you need is the right equipment.

	The work surface is a water-resistant, laminated foam board with a sturdy wood frame measuring 18" x 24". Non-skid plastic feet support the 19" x 26" wood base and keep it from moving while you're working. Tape, clip, push-pin, or staple directly to the work surface, which accepts repeated stapling and taping.
This easel has eight possible positions, from flat to 90 degrees. Angle adjustments can be made with one hand. A wire brace provides a steady support at each angle. Wire brace lays in a support channel when folded and keeps the easel flat during transport.
	The easel folds flat for convenient storage and transportation. The grip handle makes the easel's 3 1/2 lbs convenient to carry.
Aluminum shelf supports swing forward to hold a separate watercolor paint board larger than the work surface. A 24" x 32" piece of foamcore, gatorboard, masonite, or similar material in 1/4" or 3/16" thickness works great as a separate paint board.
